King Christmas Wawa has promised added protection to Newbeak, along with his various extravigant assets in the city. On the last week of November, the king had his celebration for his Departure of November. After the arrival of King Christmas Wawa, from his tour of Southern Wisconsin, troops from King Christmas Wawa's Army started departing from Newbeak. It was about 24 hours after the king's arrival back to his military base that he declared department of soldiers in Newbeak. This was possibly due to lack of comunication, or misinformation, about plans after the king's tour. There was a possibility of King Christmas Wawa returning to Newbeak for a brief visit after his tour, but the king decided to depart as soon as he arrived back.
Not all of the troops departed Newbeak, however. Two platoons remained in the city after the last week of November to serve as added protection from forigin and domestic attacks. These platoons are to serve as added police enforcment if needed. One platoon is stationed just outside the official enterance to Newbeak City. This is the only easily accessable way into the city, so having it well secured is important in making Newbeak safe. One resident interviewed quoted, "It's about damn time they took their soldiers up here to guard the city gates. Those didn't even exist until they left those borders up after the November Campaign". To adress concerns from citizens, the military stated that they had already had a police force present in Newbeak for several months now. They say that the army's presence is only to secure the new museum, which will soon contain well over $1,000 worth of assets-without collectors value. The Water Bottle Army strongly claims that there is very little gained by Newbeak for adding more military presence, because the city has never witnessed danger since the Newbeak Park Criminals launched their attack on the king-over a year ago. Much has changed in the past year alone, including the fact that the army has over 300 armored combat troops.
Some citizens critisize the army, such as one who stated, "The only reason they care about us is to have someone to stand on. They only sent troops out here because they have nothing else to do with their 3:1 soldier to citizen ratio. Nobody has power to stand against them here." This was followed by an aditional interview, in response to the previous one, in which the citizen stated, "I would rather live knowing that we are ratioed by this military, than to know that a frightening forigin government could just attack any day and capture our city." This claim can be backed by evidence of historical fights between Newbeak, and rival entities.
Back before King Christmas Wawa first formed his political military power, he led Newbeak to many various victories involving disputes between more violent powers. Nowadays, there has not been a reported siting of any of the anomolies that once had conflicts with Newbeak. It is easy to assume these powers are now fearful of the Water Bottle Army's presence in the city. This shows that the armyis simply doing nothing more than protecting their nation.
