Newbeak was prepared for one of the most hyped events it will ever witness tonight on October 18th, 2024. One thing that is for sure is that Newbeak was blown away by the spectacular event. The cape of King Christmas Wawa's October Shade Suit reflected every light that touched it. The military clearly did well to hide the suit from sight until the day of the arrival. The stunning details with the chain and stud decorations all over the suit seemed almost impossible to have been done, also given that the military only had the month of October to plan out and make the whole thing.
The tailoring of the king's suit surprized spectators and we could clearly see the luster of the gems on the back. The whole suit, even the boot, were completley loaded with gems and metal rhinestones. The cape of the October Shade suit is most likely almost as heavy as King Christmas Wawa himself, as it was clear the king was struggling to balance wearing it.
Another detail witnessed about the October Shade Suit was the unusual front design. This suit featured a more action-style display having a clear split down the middle, using chains on leather studs to support the top. It still supported the king's personal napoleon collar design, but with a more Elvis Presley style split with chains design on the chest area. It was interesting to see King Christmas Wawa's Army expariment with a button/chain design for the fitting of the suit. The chains were attached to leather studs that appeared to use a snap on system to attach to the suit while covering the upper half of the suit, and the usual design buttons continued the bottom half of the suit.
The most interesting thing about King Christmas Wawa's new October Shade Suit was the gold plated chains lining some areas of the suit. It was clearly visible that there were chains lining the collar, the boot, and even the whole cape. This type of fassion designing is rarley seen on clothing even on humans, and it was a surprize to see it attempted for King Christmas Wawa. The attempt was a big success and the king has just set the latest fassion trend.
With all of this in mind it is known that King Christmas Wawa's suits are getting heavier over time. It is unclear just how much the actual suits weigh, but it is clearly noticable that the king was severley unbalenced during the arrival today. It is unknown what the army did to support his balence, but it is worth noting that they mentioned the addition of supports in the back of the September Flame Suit. King Christmas Wawa's Army most likely did the same with the October Shade Suit. The cape alone probably weighs almost a pound. We already know that the king had issues balencing with the September Flame Cape on, but the October Shade Cape clearly has much more on it. The cape is loaded with about twice as many gems, not to mention the gold plated chains lining the front and back of the whole cape that probably added a lot more weight overall.
King Christmas Wawa's Army has teamed up with the Newbeak Press yet again to capture footage of the Arrival of the Month Event. The footage captured from the Arrival of October will be uploaded at a further date. The army seemed to be flexible with fitting our cameras into their space during the event, as they were for the Arrival of September event as well. For the Arrival of October, we focused more on the appearence of the king, rather than the filming of the army's arrival to the capital.
Over all, the pre-planning of the event happened relativley quickly. The army sent soldiers up to prepare on the 16th, and they had everything set up by the 18th for the arrival. At that time, the park was filled to its capacity with spectators. Spectators are always out early, and most of them live right near Newbeak Park so they might be out for a few hours to wait, and go back home quickly for something, to come back out later. Typically, we start to see spectators camping out in the park about two to three days prior to the actual event. This event was similar, although the spectators seemed to beat security to the chase as they were seen being escorted away when security arrived on Wednesday.
Once again, funding does not seem to be an issue, because admission tickets for the Arrival of October most likely brought in thousands in revenue. This is most likely how the king was able to spend over $400 total on his suit. It is clear that King Christmas Wawa plans to make the arrival events a staple of culture in Newbeak, and for the Water Bottle Army. With this in mind, it will be interesting to be able to compare the events to each other as they are improved over time. Over all, the Arrival of October went by much more smoothly and elagantly than the Arrival of September, and many improvements were made to the security and overall enjoyment of the spectacle.
The Arrival of October saw King Christmas Wawa wearing a suit that was completley new to the wardrobe of the king, with a completley new design. The security was also much more formal and parade-like than it was for September. "The Arrival of September was sort of a big mess for us, because we haven't done an event like this in about five months, and we were so focused on creating a strong barrier. We realized that we were focusing on separating the king from a crowd of paying spectators, not an angry mob of protestors. We still need a strong security defense regardless of who is watching... but we can sacrafice some military strategy for formation and organization." -Sgt Maj Phil, speaking about the difference between the arrivals of October and September. The biggest noticable security distance was the fact that they used fences, with guards evenly spaced in front of them, other than just packing all of the guards into a line like formation like there was a sudden security breach.
There were no real active security threats during the event, thankfully. There were some minor incodents that involved spectators being removed for suspicious and unorthodox behaviors. The security did well to insure that everything went togeather smoothly, with the only main issue being spectators climbing onto structures to see the event better. The security only gave clearence for news cameras, news crew, security, and snipers to be on top of structures, but it is almost impossible to keep spectators from sneeking onto them as the park is completley filled with a chaotic mess of visitors. Those caught doing so were escorted out of the event and charged accordingly, but some managed to maintin their unsafe positions above security during the event. This could very likely become a security issue, and we are hoping it gets resolved. The main worry is about these spectators bringing objects that could be used to harm the king or his staff, and or jumping off of the structures and using them as leverage to evade security.
King Christmas Wawa's Military really did a good job organizing the Arrival of October Event, this simply can't be emphasized enough. The neat spacing of the guards matched with the asthetic of the actual event shows good managment. Much has changed since the Arrival of September. For one, the Arrival of September was clearly way more rushed. The army had not done an arrival event for months before then, and this led to issues with getting equipment fixed and running. It is reported that King Christmas Wawa's Satalite Truck was in need of major repiars that had to be done last minute. Also, over half of the guards needed to be rushed into Newbeak the day of the arrival, which led to chaos and a much longer wait for the king to arrive.
The key difference here is the pre-planning for the Arrival of October. King Christmas Wawa's Army was seen trucking in soldiers and equipment all of the 16th and 17th, before quickly shuttling in the king on the day of the arrival. This played a key difference in the feeling of the event, with having everything ready for the king's appearence becore the day of the arrival.
The army also did a good job handling the visitors during the pre-planning of the event. They secured Newbeak Park and only started letting spectators find their places on the 17th, about 24 hours before the actual event. This is a big difference from the Arrival of September, where the security permitted spectators to arrive several days before the event actually happened. This could have posed as a security risk and was probably a nightmare for the security staff at the end. It requires many security workers going into the crowd to break it up after the departure of the king from Newbeak. This also applies if the security plans on letting visitors come early. They would have to send guards in to force the spectators to give them space for the event. It was clearly smart planning for them to control the crowd before the arrival this time.
Over all, the arrival event was spectacular. It is a pleasure for King Christmas Wawa to return to Newbeak once every month so that the citizens can witness his arrival. It adds a sense of lightened mood in the city to have what is basically a big party thrown every month to spectate the comming of the king. It also keeps the Newbeak comunity togeather. King Christmas Wawa's new October Shade suit stunned many spectators today with its vibrant colors, chains, and gems. We anticipate that King Christmas Wawa will have something special planned again for November.
